WIZwireless Limited: Plans

If you live on one of the many rural properties in our Region and don't have internet or a phone landline or need faster broadband than you currently have, we may be able to deliver broadband internet to you using our wireless technology.
WIZwireless delivers broadband through the air, rather than through your phone line so you do need to "see" one of our many radio masts along the Eastern Hills or click here to get a guide of our coverage area.

Rural Broadband Installation

Join WIZwireless today for just $373.75*. Limited time - This includes:

• a technical engineer installing the receiver equipment,
• the same technician will make sure that you are up and running smoothly including changing any email settings if need be

*Please note that there will also be travel contribution towards mileage costs. Mileage is $1.15/km.

The equipment and installation for broadband is subsidised to reduce your set up costs and because of that a $276 disconnection fee applies if you cancel your connection within 12 months. All supplied rental/ lease equipment has 3 month warranty.

What happens if you go over your monthly data plan?
There will be a charge for data over usage - $17.25 GST/ 5GB - ie is equivalent to $3/GB excl GST or you can pre-purchase a bundle of 10GB data by ordering online - (NB data is rounded up to the next 5GB bundle as soon as you go over your chosen data plan)

UPS options:
We strongly encourage all installations to have an uninterrupted power supply device (UPS) due to power outages in rural areas which may damage the radio equipment value. If you ring for support and you don't have an UPS then we will request you purchase one please otherwise you may be charged for technical support and have to pay for any replacement equipment damaged by power outages. Christmas period - office hours - the office will be closed from 22 December 2011 to 16th January 2012 - The WIZwireless office will be closed for a Christmas break for three weeks but there will be a technical engineer on call during this period as per normal support hours
